Paper transport

When the origami series began we couldnt avoid the inevitable: the paper plane. Yep, and we did it and in silver too. And we just gotta throw a couple of ships in there too. And we couldnt resist photoshop-ing it. And look how compulsive paper folding can be!

From Points to Lines to Form

*refer to post below for images*
Take a strip of paper and fold it into a busload of ideas! A cost-efficient and effective time-killer that led us to this series by turning a singular strip into 3-dimensional forms then topping it off with a gleamy Swarovski crystal that's sweeter than ice-cream! What a mouthful, then again, better to think twice when throwing those papers away eh?

Multi-taskers!

Those tiny handcrafted silver beads from the hills deserve more attention then they're getting, so we decided to string them up in leather, making them more ubiquitous in the form of bracelet-necklace-belt. Yep, you can wear them three-ways!

Folded Friends from Centimeter Design!

Most of us first came into contact with origami while we were... okay then it's not so long ago. It is highly liberating as the hands form paper into planes, jumping frogs, hats, flowers, cash cheques and just about anything. (okay we made one of that up.) And it is just as intimate as it is liberating, you get to make whatever you desire (there's a book of erotic origami, whatever that means and not that we know what's between the covers tsk tsk~)

One aspect of our art is to conserve the sweeter parts of our what our little brains can recall, and with this instance, the paper is superseded by sterling silver. This is just the start of our conservation project, do keep a lookout for more to come in this series as we attempt to resolve our little fetish with paper/silver!
