31st October is a day that children remember as fun. 31st October is also the start of a 3-day festival to remember loved ones who have passed on. Whereever they are, they will always be a part of us.
Happy trick-or-treating~

Beware of Fraud(s).
It has come to our attention that some of our inhouse design were being haggled elsewhere other than the porch. Much as we'd love more exposure, but we will have to concede that right now we are retailing them as LIMITED collection pieces only. Please take note of the logo (above) that is laser-engraved onto all products under Centimeter Design. It is our assurance to you of the quality and care that we provide.
It is also a mark of the hours and effort we had poured into researching, designing and producing. Any lookalike found anywhere else is a design stolen from us.
We're deeply grateful to those of you who have been part of our little clique of Centimeter Design collectors, and we'll continue to design with heart and pride!

Our little way of sharing the occasion with you.
Everyone has their particular way of celebrating festivities, some bake, some decorate, but we do it the only way we know how; through jewellery.
So here we go, some specially designed sterling beads for our first Halloween on the porch. A little something from us.

11 more days!
yes, yes we're counting down to Halloween! it is traditionally believed that looking scary should aid in warding off malignant spirits, and that is the best excuse to put on costumes/clothes that we wouldnt dare to wear given any other day,
in the meantime, the perky little brains on the porch decided to give it a little modern tweak and thus, Halloween-themed Charms!

black gold rush!
Like a fascinated child, we wondered aloud how something black could gleam so wondrously of gold. These are the marcasite stones that made their way here from faraway Switzerland and now sitting pretty in different cuts and alignment. Bracelets, earrings and rings....hmm, match them to complete a gleaming set of your own!

I was here too!
For some peculiar reason, we are able to switch our brains into speed camera mode, thus developing a particularly nasty habit of capturing even nastier details of our environment, followed by an extremely "meaningful discussion" of how things could've been worse.
When we are done with that sort of policing, we're getting pretty adept at catching the idiosyncrasies of the city of Bangkok and beyond, and we will like to share them with everyone from everywhere else through this new set of postcards.
It's not all so particularly bad after all!
Sawatdii!

would you like to upsize?
Accessories are meant to bring out your best traits and if you are big on personality, ply on the volume!
(skipping the technicalities) we have some special pieces of silver [in the form of earrings and bangles] that are hollowed out, so that additional volume of style doesn't necessarily translate into sagging earlobes!

Calculate the surface area of each ring.
If you dont feel inclined to do so, congratulations! You are on the same page as us. Much as we hated the "algebraic, aliquot, analytic, arithmetical, bilinear, binary, calculable, centesimal, commensurable, computable, concentric, conjugate, decadic, decimal, denary, differential, divisible, duodecimal, exponential, factorial, figurate, fingerfull, fluxional, fractional, geodesic, hundredth, icosian, imaginary, impossible, incommensurable, incommensurate, integral, irrational, logarithmic, logometric, millesimal, more or less, more than one, negative, not alone, numerable, numeral, numerical, oblique, octifid, plural, positive, prime, proportional, quadragesimal, quadratic, quadrille, quantitative, radical, rational, real, reciprocal, sesquilateral, sexagenary, sexagesimal, statistical, surd, tabular, tenth, three-dimensional, tithe, transfinite, truncated, twelfth, two-dimensional, upwards of, variable, vicenary, vigesimal (-snipped from dictionary.com-)" aspects of our tender years in school, we maintain a sense of awe/frustration/intrigue/annoyance towards Mathematics. This new series from Centimeter Design, is a zany play on geometry: avid attention to shape and form, surface treatment and contrasts, in generating our signature of sophisticating absurdity. If anything, it has been a satisfying attempt at translating the imaginings of maths into a physical structure, albeit a really handy one.
You dont even have to believe a word we tell you; just wear this chunk of charms and ask your pals to calculate its surface area.
